YggRO2 END of debug and maintence Options

So far everything seems as though we have solved the issue. Therefore as I stated already in the Debug announcement: Due to the nature of these servers I determined in order to have any community left I have to appease the lowest common denominator, combined with the fact the debug took longer than expected due to lack of community assistance in the form of reports (all 3 reports) I have decided to keep the debug server's database and restore the normal rates.

Therefor on Monday, 12/14/2009 I will be taking the server offline and doing some database cleanup. Any account which has not been logged into will be removed. The rates will be restored to the normal 10/10/5, and no other changes will occur. The database cleanup will take quite a while, and I will be performing hardware maintenance also and as such I plan to have the server and the registration page offline until 10pm GMT-6 on Monday 12/14/09.

The entire staff here appreciates your patience with the debugging issue and apologizes for any inconvenience it might have caused. Sadly this is a server trying to make an emulator for something which should not have been released to the public and problems will arise. I am proud that in less than 4 months the server has added and fixed more features in less than a 3rd of the time others have had to do the same thing. We have even added features not been done by any other server except for kRO2, and have improved upon some of its core design flaws. Just look at the changelog, and for all of you new players who don't realize that something as simple as STANCES were not working not long ago, or there were very few features but all worked very well (see the Legacy server). I hope you take a look at the future of YggRO2 and can get an idea of what is yet to come. With a team of 2 people working on the emulator, site, and client modification both having other commitments in RL and only 2 other staff members, I hope you all can appreciate the amount of time and dedication required to continue this work. I hope to see you all in Rune-Midgard soon!
